I hate the way you often use Ryan Adams or Bruce Springsteen as a point of comparison with virtually every positive comment about Taylor. As if you have to use a man as a baseline to compare her against. It’s irritating. The NYC comment is the perfect example. Why bring him up? And yes if I don’t like it I can go look at another blog. Will do. You seem like a decent enough guy. Please take a close look at what you are doing and why. We need men like you to lead the way by example. Thx.

Your blinders are on too tight. I am a person with my own tastes and reference points and those are what I am going to use.

RA’s use of cities as references to lovers instead of their names went very deep, so it was quite topical.

As for Bruce, he’s probably the biggest performer ever to not self destruct or turn into a caricature, so that’s topical to taylor’s future too.

Have tastes, have things you enjoy but dividing everyone up into two categories is just a poor choice.
